RGM: Providing Vehicle Maintenance Services to the Australian Defence Forces Since 2002

RGM Maintenance encompasses all aspects of vehicle repair, from routine maintenance to major rebuilds. RGM's capabilities range from mechanical maintenance and surface preparation to signature management through the application of disruptive camouflage patterns with Near Infra Red Reflective (NIRR) paint schemes.

Over the years, RGM have maintained a wide variety of light, medium, heavy, and protected vehicles, as well as engineering plant equipment for the ADF and defence prime contractors. We pride ourselves on offering a comprehensive "one-stop-shop" approach to customer service.

All work performed by RGM on ADF vehicles and equipment adheres to the ADF TRAMM-L standards, utilizing only OEM parts.

Department of Defence Aviation Services

RGM offer on and off-ramp solutions to its Aviation customers and are known for their high level of service of:

RGM provides the highest level of fleet maintenance to customer specification and in compliance with all relevant Australian civil aviation and defence aviation standards, specific services offerings from our national network include:

Vehicles and Equipment Service and Repairs

Total rebuilds including extensive panel repairs & repaints
Minor repairs and regular services.
Preparation of vehicles predeployment [SEA PREP]
Technical inspection prior to maintenance
Years of experience in the repair and maintenance of medium vehicles such as UNIMOG, Isuzu, Mitsubishi and other similar makes and models.
Defence fire vehicle repair and overhauls
Defence ambulance and maintenance vehicle service and repair

Defence Fuel Equipment Repair

RGM repairs and tests [SLP] ADF fuel handling assets utilised for Petrol, Diesel and Aviation fuel.

All RGM branches are SLP (safe load program) accredited inspection stations.

All tankers loading require a return to service check after maintenance is performed.

Protected Vehicle Service & Repairs

RGM conducts mechanical maintenance and paint repairs on various protected vehicles including protected engineering equipment like Bushmasters and heavy road transport vehicles.

These vehicles also include the Thales Bushmaster and Thales Light Engineering Tractor, up armoured Mack Tankers and bobcats. RGM previously had a maintenance support contract to Thales and RGM were very proud to be working with Thales in support of the Bushmaster, a proven fantastic life-saving vehicle.

Defence Engineering Equipment - BRIDGING (MGB & FSB)

The Medium Girder Bridge [MGB] repair program was carried out over a period of 5 years at our Brisbane Location.

This program consisted of the complete disassembly of each component which made up an MGB or any of its variants.

The individual parts were inspected, both visually and via NDT. The types of repairs carried out ranged from electroplating ferrous parts to specialised welding of the 7000 series alloy components under controlled conditions to replacement of unrepairable items.

Once the parts were recovered to a known serviceable state, the bridge components were reassembled, painted and certified as serviceable and fully functional in accordance with the ADF Technical Regulation for Army Materiel Maintenance - Land [TRAMM-L].

Defence Equipment Crane & Lifting Service & Repairs

RGM conducts crane repairs to all crane types and carries out repairs & inspections for the Department of Defence.
